Steve Rogers: Super-Soldier

It's only coincidence that the Captain America: The First Avenger trailer aired last night, because I'd been on a Steve Rogers kick for a few days prior. And some time over the weekend it hit me just how much I like the Super-Soldier costume, particularly on the cover below:



Then there's this highly cool action-figure mod. I'd make a mad dash to buy this one today if it was on the racks:

I'm fighting the urge to grab these omnibuses, some of which I've seen vary dramatically in price. Some vendors even show volume one sold out, so of course that only increases the fever to own it. But I'm holding out for now. My reading history with Brubaker's Captain America only runs from #42-50 & #600, and they were great, so I know these would be keepers.

It may be worth holding out until HeroesCon for the best deals, but with the movie out this summer, I'm afraid these books will be hard to find. So I'm back to square one. What to do...
